Construction Manager
Construction Manager – Infrastructure Prosttogramme
Our client, a respected organisation in water and wastewater sector infrastructure delivery, is scaling their construction delivery team. We are seeking a Construction Manager to shape the success of ongoing and upcoming projects.

Core Responsibilities
In this Construction Manager role, you will:
- Lead and oversee construction teams, ensuring projects are executed safely, timely, and within budget
- Facilitate construction kick-off meetings and conduct project health checks
- Monitor supplier performance, reviewing and approving Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS) for safety, programme, and quality
- Drive innovation through Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsals, and Fit-for-Assembly sign-offs
- Promote zero-waste principles and guide initiatives to reduce embodied carbon
- Ensure timely submission of all contractual and commercial notices required
- Collaborate with Lead Construction Managers to plan labour, plant, and materials forecasting
- Maintain full Health & Safety compliance, fostering a culture of safety and accountability
- Advance standardised products and techniques to uphold industry excellence
- Track progress against programme, quality, and client expectations
- Provide proactive reporting to Operations Managers, identifying risks, opportunities, and resource needs

Requirements & Qualifications
We welcome applications from candidates with:
- Relevant Temporary Works experience or associated qualification
- Strong project management background, including:
- Degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline
- APMP certification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale construction programmes
- Experience in the water or wastewater sector (highly desirable)
- Proven track record in managing and analysing project programmes
- Deep knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction Health & Safety
- Exceptional communication skills (written + verbal): collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Results-driven mindset capable of setting and reaching ambitious performance targets
- Leadership skills to inspire, organise, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- Strategic, operational, technical, and managerial capabilities
- Commercial acumen with sound judgement for decision-making
