The Senior Field Engineer supports Project Managers in the monitoring of construction-related activity on large, strategically important projects (typically valued above £25m), across multiple projects within a defined sub‑programme, or in support of a Programme Construction Manager on larger or more complex programmes (typically above £100m). All roles operate within a live operational environment.

You’ll Be Responsible For

Directing and developing construction management teams. Reviewing CDM, HSE and compliance submissions. Assuring quality, commissioning and reporting. Promoting world-class safety culture. Inspecting works and resolve site issues. Coordinating design, engineering and energisation. Supporting commissioning, handover and onboarding. Monitoring progress, interfaces and continuous improvement.

You’ll Need To Have

Degree-qualified in construction or engineering; chartered membership desirable. Significant experience on major, complex infrastructure projects in live environments. Strong HSE, quality, commissioning and buildability expertise across multi‑disciplinary delivery. Proven team leadership, programme management and NEC contract knowledge.
