Construction Site Manager – Commercial to Hotel Fit-Out
Criterion Capital is seeking a driven and hands-on Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a major fit-out project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming a commercial space into a high-quality hotel development.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day site management and coordinate labour and subcontractors
- Drive programme delivery, taking corrective action where required
- Liaise with contractors, architects, and quantity surveyors throughout the construction phase
- Represent the company at external meetings
- Monitor progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Motivate and manage site teams to maximise productivity
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and all statutory requirements

About You

- Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing construction sites
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, design, and defect prevention
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience in residential or hotel conversion projects (highly desirable)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
