Role Description
The Construction Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across multiple residential construction projects. This role manages project planning and scheduling, coordinates site teams and subcontractors, and ensures work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The Construction Operations Manager monitors resource allocation, reviews progress against milestones, and implements process improvements to optimize efficiency and quality. The role includes collaborating with clients and design professionals, leading contract administration, and managing risk, compliance, and documentation. The Construction Operations Manager also supports forecasting, reporting, and operational decision-making to align project delivery with company objectives.

- Strong Operations Management capabilities, including workflow optimization and resource coordination.
- Proven Project Management skills, with experience in scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Construction Management experience in high-end residential projects, with solid knowledge of building methods and regulations.
- Budgeting and cost control expertise, including forecasting, financial tracking, and variance analysis.
- Contract Negotiation and administration skills, with the ability to manage agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience guiding site teams and fostering a safety-focused, collaborative culture.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders professionally.
- Proficiency in construction and project management software; experience with reporting tools is beneficial.
- Relevant degree or vocational qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
