Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair compact construction equipment
- Carry out inspections, diagnostics and routine maintenance
- Prepare machinery for hire and customer delivery
- Support the parts and service teams with day-to-day operations
- Work safely and professionally in a busy depot environment
Requirements
- A genuine interest in engineering, mechanics or construction equipment
- Good practical skills and willingness to learn
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to completing the apprenticeship
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- GCSEs (or predicted) in English and Maths preferred but not essential
