Full Job Description

Join our expanding team who are delivering life safety solutions across the central belt and beyond. You will be joining a company which has been supplying security systems for seventeen years and has recently expanded into the fire safety compartmentation sector.

The Role

The successful applicant will be working on a part-time basis with a team of experienced engineers and be responsible for the cradle-to-grave delivery of minor and major project activity. If the business keeps expanding there may be scope for the role to expand to full-time.

We are seeking an ambitious, driven and enthusiastic individual who is familiar with construction terminology & project planning, ideally on a commercial scale. The role is office based in Livingston.

The role will include planning a varied range of commercial projects. Good communication skills are required as you will be procuring materials, liaising with clients and synchronising multiple engineers in the delivery of each project. No sales skills are required as all business leads will come from the Director, who you will be working beside directly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
