Construction Project Coordinator
Project Co-ordinator Position – Bauer Media Outdoor
About the Role
Are you excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail will make a real difference? Bauer Media Outdoor, one of the world’s leading Out of Home (OOH) media owners, with over 40,000 sites nationwide, is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our expanding Construction Division.
Based initially at our Petersfield Depot and set to relocate to the PO8 area within 3–6 months, this role will see you collaborate with a dedicated team of over 650 professionals across 14 locations nationwide, ensuring the smooth execution of construction builds while upholding our mission to improve urban environments and support local communities.
Responsibilities
As a Project Co-ordinator at Bauer Media Outdoor, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the construction build process while handling administrative, coordination, and client-facing responsibilities. Key duties include:

Internal & external communication:
- Managing correspondence to ensure smooth administration and construction workflows.
- Handling enquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues as needed.
- Liaising with external bodies to resolve disputes impacting construction activities.

Autonomy & teamwork:
- Working independently to deliver results, while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Demonstrating strong prioritisation skills and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic setting.

Administrative & logistical support:
- Maintaining databases, business reports, spreadsheets, and contract tracking.
- Coordinating admin tasks to support Project Managers and the wider construction team.
- Ensuring timely distribution and processing of internal documents.

Contractor & supplier management:
- Obtaining and distributing external quotes and orders, then liaising with finance to verify accuracy.

Additional responsibilities:
- Book training courses, coordinate travel and hotel arrangements as required.
- Prepare and submit planning applications with supporting documentation.
- Manage permits and traffic management plans, ensuring alignment with the departmental build plan.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to streamline operations.
Requirements
While specific experience isn’t guaranteed, successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Proven administrative or coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational abilities, including database and spreadsheet management.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for internal/external interactions.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Prioritisation and adaptability to meet dynamic project demands.
- Previous experience in construction, logistics, or customer facing roles would be beneficial.
