An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a Facilities team delivering a major industrial construction project within a highly secure manufacturing environment.
This client-side role will see you acting as the primary point of contact between the business, external consultants, and principal contractors, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a bespoke, technically complex facility supporting critical engineering and manufacturing programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of a large-scale industrial construction project from inception through to completion.
- Act as the primary client representative, building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Chair and coordinate project, contractor, and consultant meetings.
- Monitor programme progress, project budgets, and key milestones, providing regular updates to the wider Facilities and Project teams.
- Review construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
- Review and approve contractor applications for payment and assess variations.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and escalate where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support effective communication between all project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
You will ideally have:
- Extensive construction project management experience within industrial, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, project delivery, and contract administration.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
- The ability to interpret and understand construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and budget management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
- A sound understanding of construction health and safety legislation and quality standards.

Desirable Experience
- Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).
- Previous experience delivering projects within defence, aerospace, MOD, nuclear, or other high-security environments.
- Experience managing bespoke industrial buildings or complex M&E construction projects.
- Knowledge of working within secure facilities requiring strict compliance and governance.
