Role Description
This full-time Construction Project Manager role is based in Nottingham and offered on a hybrid basis, combining on-site work with some work from home. The Construction Project Manager will oversee fire safety and construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements are met.

Daily Responsibilities

- Coordinating project teams and subcontractors
- Managing construction activities
- Monitoring progress
- Resolving on-site issues
- Preparing project plans and budgets
- Tracking expenditure
- Reporting on project performance to stakeholders
The Construction Project Manager will also ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company standards, and client requirements, while promoting safe working practices and effective communication across all project phases.
Qualifications
- Strong Construction Project Management and Construction Management skills, with experience delivering projects in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Solid Project Management and Project Coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Budgeting skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage costs, forecast expenditure, and support commercial decision-making.
- Relevant experience in fire safety, building services, or engineering environments is highly beneficial.
- Professional qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Proficient in using project management and construction-related software tools, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external partners, fostering collaborative and inclusive working relationships.
