About Our Client

Our client is an international hospitality group expanding its operations globally. As part of the final phase of a major hotel development project in Zanzibar, the company is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee site activities through project completion.

Job Description

Reporting to the project team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of construction activities on site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising construction works and project execution on site;
  • Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders;
  • Managing site modifications and technical adaptations as required;
  • Monitoring project budgets and preparing progress reports;
  • Ensuring compliance with project schedules and quality standards;
  • Coordinating with technical and corporate management teams;
  • Supporting the successful completion and handover of the project.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project execution and site management;
  • Mandatory experience within the hospitality sector (hotels, resorts, accommodation or leisure projects);
  • Strong site-based project management experience;
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment;
  • Willingness to relocate to Zanzibar for the duration of the assignment;
  • Spanish language skills would be considered an advantage.
