Pinsent Masons is seeking a Transactional Construction Lawyer (2-4 PQE) to join our Birmingham-based Projects & Construction team. This is an opportunity to work on major infrastructure and development projects, collaborate with leading practitioners, and grow within a practice known for technical excellence and sector insight.
You’ll be part of a national practice advising a broad mix of public and private sector clients. Working with UK-wide stakeholders, you’ll gain exposure to significant projects while building meaningful client relationships and deep sector expertise.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering transactional construction advice on some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and development projects. Working alongside colleagues across our national network, you will support clients on a diverse range of matters spanning infrastructure, real estate development, energy, manufacturing and public sector projects.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing and innovative practice, advising on complex mandates that shape the built environment. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative team, developing your technical capability while delivering commercially focused, high-quality advice.

- Advising on construction aspects of major infrastructure projects, real estate developments and sector-specific projects including energy, rail and utilities
- Supporting clients on large-scale national programmes, including framework agreements, cladding remediation programmes and strategic project delivery models
- Drafting and negotiating construction documentation and associated project agreements
- Advising on development projects across sectors including commercial, residential, mixed-use, universities and institutional portfolios
- Working with a range of stakeholders including contractors, developers, public bodies and investors
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across projects, real estate and regulatory teams to deliver joined-up advice
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to ongoing business development initiatives
About the Team
Our Birmingham Construction and Projects team advises a wide range of clients, including:
- Developers and Institutional Investors
- Contractors and Supply Chain Participants
- Public Sector Bodies and Universities
- Infrastructure and Utilities Providers
The team is recognised for delivering high-quality, practical advice on complex and high-value projects across the UK.
