You will play a key role within the team in delivering quality projects for our clients, whilst developing personally as a professional as a Placement Student. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer to join our vibrant team.
About The Role
You will be responsible for providing support to the Site Engineers and Managers in the following areas:
- Software: Use of AutoCad & drawing production.
- Equipment: Use of surveying equipment such as Total Stations & GPS.
- Coordinating: Working with site staff, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the construction project to ensure all work is completed according to specifications.
- Materials: Ordering materials and logging deliveries.
- IT duties: Performing administrative tasks and weekly checks.
- SHEQ: Adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance standards.
- Liaison: Building strong working relationship with Clients, Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Managers and Site teams to deliver quality projects.
- Deadlines: Monitoring project progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Policies & Procedures: Complying with all company systems and procedures, including the Information Management Systems.
- Other: Any other task commensurate with this role.

Your Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Knowledge:
- Working towards a degree in Construction Engineering or relevant discipline.
Skills:
- The ability to plan, organise and prioritise and work to meet deadlines using your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
Experience:
- Previous work experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Skills:
- Full valid driving licence with access to a vehicle and willing to travel to site.
