Project locations: Southern home counties & London (this is a roaming position with no fixed project)

The company:
This main contractor delivers Design & Build contracts for a host of clients nationally and are primarily focused envelope refurbishments. They're known for quality delivery, strong client relationships and professional leadership which is driving the business in the right direction.
The role:
As a Roaming Site Manager within this business you will be responsible for managing PCSA investigation activities on projects which are currently in pre-construction across the South and as required also in London. Your role will include:

- Working in a stand alone capacity to visit projects where works have not commenced
- Conducting environmental site assessment.
- Utility surveys.
- Carry out site condition assessments
- Traffic and access assessments.
- Health & safety assessments for the production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Running DABs
- Supervise contractors carrying out working at height tasks (MEWP operations and scaffold temporary works) to investigate building fabric, identification of services etc.
- QA using Fieldview.
What are they looking for?
- A construction professional that is either experienced with Tier 1 or 2 main contractor.
- Previous experience of carrying out site investigations is a big advantage.
- Proven track record in with a Main/Principal Contractor.
- Comfortable working in a stand alone position.
- Be ok with travelling. You could be in Sussex one day and in Dorset or further a field the next.
- Up to date CITB qualifications and a First Aid at Work.
- A person that enjoys engaging with the public and clients.
