Highall Developments Ltd is a rapidly growing privately owned development company specialising predominantly in residential development. We operate across the Northwest and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality homes across a diverse portfolio of projects. Our live and pipeline developments include a variety of market, contract, and specialising in affordable housing schemes ranging in value from £2m – £10m.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager based in the Northwest to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be expected to promote and act in accordance with company values, systems, policies, and procedures, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all on-site activities to ensure compliance with programme, quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.
- Leading and motivating site teams, including subcontractors, to achieve project objectives.
- Planning, coordinating and supervising daily site operations.
- Monitoring progress, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring works are delivered to specification.
- Liaising with the Construction Manager, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintaining accurate site records, including health and safety documentation, daily diaries, and progress reports.
- Attending and contributing to site and progress meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential sector (minimum 5 years preferred).
- Ideally qualified or experienced within a civils background alongside strong residential housebuilding experience.
- Good understanding of reinforced concrete (RC) structures/walls and associated construction methods.
- Previous experience managing bespoke developments on constrained sites with challenging terrain and limited working space.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
- Experience with the construction methods of Timber frame housing.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office.
- SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid certification essential.
- Temporary Works Supervisor.
- Full UK driving licence.

Salary
£45,000 – £60,000 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience).
