About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in Construction Site Manager roles within the UK construction and engineering sector. Roles of this type support the successful delivery of projects across diverse sites, from infrastructure and commercial build to specialist engineering works, with scope to coordinate teams, manage stakeholders and maintain site standards.

You could be based across multiple locations including Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and other UK regions, working on projects that require hands-on site leadership, regulatory compliance and collaborative problem-solving.

What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour and resources to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Leading toolbox talks and site inductions to ensure team awareness of safety requirements
  • Liaising with clients, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and manage expectations
  • Monitoring project progress against plans and reporting status to senior management
  • Managing site facilities, welfare and housekeeping to maintain professional standards

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Site Manager on multi-million pound projects
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent
  • First Aid certification and ideally HV (High Voltage) awareness or similar specialist safety qualifications
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating teams of 20+ personnel
  • Familiarity with site management software, spreadsheets and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work across different UK locations as required
  • Full UK driving licence
