Construction Solicitor – Senior Associate or Legal Director

LC Legal is partnering with a top-rated national law firm widely recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for its construction and infrastructure expertise. The firm advises a diverse client base—including major corporates, developers, contractors, investors, consultants, and private clients—across the UK and internationally.
Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of complex work, they are now seeking an ambitious Construction Solicitor at Senior Associate or Legal Director level to join their expanding Leeds team.
The Opportunity
You will handle a diverse range of high-value, high-stakes construction and engineering matters, with a primary focus on contentious work but also exposure to non-contentious advisory roles.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will predominantly involve:
- Construction and engineering disputes
- Adjudication proceedings
- Litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
- Contractual and project-related disputes
- Risk management and strategic project advice

Requirements
Experience & Skills:
- 4–8+ years of PQE (Post-Qualification Experience) in a recognised construction law practice
- Strong experience in contentious construction matters and disputes
- Robust foundational knowledge of core construction law principles
- Commercial mindset combined with technical expertise
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, with a willingness to mentor junior lawyers
- Proactive, commercially driven approach to client service and business development
