Non:Contentious Construction Solicitor (5+ PQE) Birmingham

International Law Firm

If you're a non:contentious construction lawyer looking for work that is both high quality and genuinely varied, this opportunity should be on your radar.

A leading international law firm is looking to strengthen its Birmingham Construction team with the appointment of an experienced solicitor with around five years PQE. The team is recognised for advising on some of the UK's most significant development and infrastructure projects, acting for an impressive client base that includes developers, funders, contractors, consultants, investors and major corporate occupiers.

Working closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Banking and Corporate, you'll play a key role in supporting complex, high:value transactions from inception through to completion.

The successful candidate will already have a solid grounding in non:contentious construction work, excellent drafting skills and the confidence to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Experience of standard form construction contracts, including JCT and NEC, will be expected, together with a commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
