The Construction Specialist role is a contract, on-site position based in London. This role involves overseeing day-to-day construction activities across residential and mixed-use projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to agreed quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Coordinating with site managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitoring progress against plans and budgets
- Supporting inspections and compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures
- Reviewing drawings and specifications
- Identifying buildability issues and implementing practical solutions on site
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation
- Using Microsoft Office to track reporting and communication
- Contributing to a resident-first approach in live, occupied environments
Qualifications
- Strong practical experience in Construction, with a solid understanding of site operations and construction methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Architecture and technical drawings, with the ability to interpret plans and coordinate design details on site.
- Experience in Inspection activities, including quality checks, safety compliance, and adherence to building regulations and company standards.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, supporting project teams in tracking expenditure and managing resources effectively.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Relevant construction-related qualification or apprenticeship (e.g., degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or similar) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices, especially in urban and occupied settings.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse project stakeholders.
- Experience in residential or mixed-use developments, airspace or rooftop projects, or complex urban schemes is an advantage.
