The Role: Construction Training Coordinator

Location: Smallfield (own transport preferred) Contract: Office-based (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Training Coordinator to oversee our training programme across all business operations.

Training Programme Management

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of internal and external construction training programmes, including:
    • Health & Safety
    • CSCS/NPORS cards
    • NVQ (National Vocational Qualifications)
  • Ensure training is delivered efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with business and project needs.

Compliance Oversight

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training for site operatives and staff.
  • Monitor attendance, engagement, and feedback to evaluate programme success.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, standards, and mandatory certification requirements.

CITB Grant & Funding Management

  • Manage CITB grant applications, submissions, and reconciliations to maximise funding opportunities.
  • Preserve comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with CITB requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all CITB-related activities.

Continuous Improvement & Insight

  • Analyse training data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and CITB updates, implementing best practices.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements to training processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in managing CITB grant applications, submissions, and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of CSCS, NPORS, and NVQ training programmes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for workforce development.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms is an advantage.
