About the Role
We’re looking for a Client-Facing Consultant to join our rapidly growing Competitive Strategy Practice, a veteran team of self-starters driving ‘first-mover advantage’ strategy for 25+ of the world’s leading life sciences players. Why Competitive Strategy – Prescient? • Work across the lifecycle: pipeline discovery through post-launch organisational implant • Partner with high-growth biopharma in US/EU markets • Influence business decisions from scientific rationale to revenue generation • Operate in a values-driven, coaching culture where progression depends on your ambition – not legacy systems • Hybrid and flexible working rooted in private equity-backed stability
Key Responsibilities

Client Trust Builder: Deliver precise insights and clear narratives to digitally vexed clients for I&E presentations, examinations and executive meetings.
-
Practice Ownership:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
