Shift Pattern
The shift pattern for this post is 9-5, Monday to Friday.

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
About the Role
Do you want an opportunity to work with the biggest NHS Alcohol and Drugs Service in the UK, whilst continuing your CPD with protected time, and with the opportunity to enhance your CV?
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde addiction services are responsible for the delivery of addiction treatment and care services for currently over 10,000 clients. The services range from local Community Alcohol and Drug Teams through to specialist day and inpatient care, together with liaison provision for both general psychiatry and a wider Recovery Orientated System of Care. Our multidisciplinary structure includes professionals from the fields of medicine, nursing, social care, psychology, occupational therapy, dietetics and pharmacy. HSCP Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services also commission third sector partners to collectively deliver a recovery orientated system of care.
We are seeking an enthusiastic specialist to work with two of our clinical teams. The post is based in Possilpark Health and Care Centre (Northwest Glasgow) and Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre (East Dunbartonshire) and relates to the Northwest Glasgow and East Dun, catchment areas. You would participate in all aspects of patient care, and multidisciplinary meetings providing consultant leadership and expertise. The services primarily receives referrals for opiate and alcohol dependency.

Requirements
Full registration with the GMC, MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent and a CCST are essential. You must be eligible for approval under the Scottish Mental Health Act as an AMP.
The posts combine the satisfaction of participating in an innovative and developing clinical service to a client group with high levels of morbidity for alcohol, drugs and mental health problems, together with the opportunity to become involved in further developing our recovery orientated system of care as well as a number of research projects and teaching initiatives.
Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCST or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR) or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of Interview.
