We’re looking for a highly organised and client-focused Consultant to join Civica Election Services’ Local Authority Team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering complex electoral and voter registration projects for local authority clients across the UK. Why you will love this opportunity as Consultant within Civica Election Services You’ll act as a trusted partner to clients leading delivery, managing relationships, and ensuring high-quality outcomes while also contributing to the development of our services and supporting the growth of the wider team. What you will do to be successful in this role: Project Delivery Plan, coordinate, and deliver election and voter registration projects to time and quality standards Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of local authority clients Lead collaborative planning across consortiums for election and registration activity Build strong, trust-based relationships and manage issues through to resolution Service ownership & expertise Take ownership of a key technical or service area (e.g. print & mail, registration, digital tools) Become a subject matter expert and point of escalation Identify opportunities to improve services and enhance client value Team contribution & mentoring Mentor and support junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice Contribute to a collaborative, multi-skilled team environment Support day-to-day team operations and internal initiatives Continuous improvement & innovation Maintain knowledge of the UK electoral landscape and regulatory changes Contribute to service evolution, pilot projects, and internal improvements Own and enhance internal tools or processes to improve efficiency Delivery excellence Prepare project documentation, timelines, and deliverables Liaise with internal teams to ensure quality standards and milestones are met Balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client-facing environments Proven project management experience delivering complex programmes Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success PRINCE2 Practitioner (or equivalent) We Want You to Bring Your Whole Self to Work There is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list above, please still get in touch.
