We are a boutique consultancy supporting complex infrastructure organisations in Ireland and the UK, with strong roots in Manufacturing, Engineering, Lean, and Production thinking, deep sector expertise across the full asset lifecycle, benefits-focused, delivering outcome-driven solutions.

Role(s): Consultant

Location: Belfast or Dublin, Hybrid

Role Purpose

As a Consultant, you will support the delivery of business improvement and transformation projects across the infrastructure sector from water and energy to transport and beyond. Working alongside experienced colleagues and ambitious clients, you’ll help design and implement change initiatives that drive measurable value and sustainable performance.

You’ll develop trusted working relationships, contribute ideas, and grow your consulting capability, all within a collaborative, people-first environment where learning and development are actively supported.

Skills & Experience

Must-Haves (Core Competencies)

Consulting Core

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to organise work, track progress, and support project reporting
  • Curious, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn quickly
  • Ability to analyse information and contribute to practical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
  • High standard of written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to support business development activities where appropriate

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Experience working within project teams (consulting or industry)
  • Ability to work effectively with others and support delivery activities
  • Emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to build rapport
  • Commercial awareness and a focus on outcomes
  • Exposure to utilities, manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure environments
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Nice-to-Haves (Complementary Expertise)

Sector & Delivery Experience

  • Experience contributing to proposals or tenders
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement, Lean, or operational excellence

Change & Transformation Skills

  • Understanding of organisational design or workforce planning concepts
  • Exposure to process mapping or business improvement activities
  • Experience supporting cultural or change initiatives
  • Awareness of benefits realisation, risk, or governance approaches
