About the Role
Consultants at Guidehouse will be key contributors to project success, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes, solution implementation, and impactful results. You will engage directly with project teams to drive engagement, participate in daily client and internal communications, and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design project plans, manage project status reporting and client deliverables tracking, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business units and process owners to map existing business processes using Microsoft Visio.
- Conduct detailed analyses of client projects, transforming findings into actionable insights through compelling narratives using Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Assist Senior Consultants and Managers in project execution, including:
- Assessing, measuring, monitoring, and reporting on operational risks and controls.
- Remediating gaps in new or existing business processes.
- Develop and implement operational risk management frameworks, guidelines, and policies in line with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support the team in preparing responses for Request for Proposals (RFP) engagements with prospective clients.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (any field).
- 1+ years of experience in banking or commercial financial services consulting.
- Strong ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities evolve quickly.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements as required.
- Right-to-work eligibility in the UK (e.g., UK/EU Passport, Indefinite Leave to Remain, Settled Status).
What Would Be Ideal (Nice to Have)
- Prior management consulting experience.
- Experience in:
- Operational risk, big bank compliance (1st or 2nd line of defense).
- Banking regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Process mapping and risk/controls current state assessments.
- Certifications such as ACCA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related qualifications.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA, MA/MS) in a relevant field.
