About The Role

The Strategic Communications practice of FTI Consulting is one of the world’s most highly regarded communications consultancies. We offer a broad base of disciplines across a variety of specialist sectors including:

You would be joining a fast-paced team which delivers both financial and corporate communications support and advice to its clients. The team values:

What You’ll Do

You will play a fundamental role within the client account teams, delivering high-quality work to an array of financial services clients across core established sectors:

  • Savings and investments
  • Banking
  • Insurance

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver corporate communications programmes, helping to develop and maintain media relationships and managing news hook calendars
  • Engage with media on a daily basis, keeping abreast of media moves and role/beat changes for journalists
  • Contribute to discussions on the topics shaping the sector, including:
    • News monitoring
    • Delivering news reports and analysis both internally and to external clients
  • Assist senior team members in creatively preparing and delivering client mandates, including:
    • Draft press releases
    • Draft media statements
    • Media pitches
    • Award entries
  • Work alongside colleagues to ensure:
    • Timescales are adhered to
    • Quality assurance standards are met
  • Compile client activity reports to help keep account teams on track with deliverables
