About The Role
The Strategic Communications practice of FTI Consulting is one of the world’s most highly regarded communications consultancies. We offer a broad base of disciplines across a variety of specialist sectors including:

You would be joining a fast-paced team which delivers both financial and corporate communications support and advice to its clients. The team values:

What You’ll Do
You will play a fundamental role within the client account teams, delivering high-quality work to an array of financial services clients across core established sectors:
- Savings and investments
- Banking
- Insurance
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver corporate communications programmes, helping to develop and maintain media relationships and managing news hook calendars
- Engage with media on a daily basis, keeping abreast of media moves and role/beat changes for journalists
- Contribute to discussions on the topics shaping the sector, including:
- News monitoring
- Delivering news reports and analysis both internally and to external clients
- Assist senior team members in creatively preparing and delivering client mandates, including:
- Draft press releases
- Draft media statements
- Media pitches
- Award entries
- Work alongside colleagues to ensure:
- Timescales are adhered to
- Quality assurance standards are met
- Compile client activity reports to help keep account teams on track with deliverables
