Overview
Join a team where data, commercial understanding, and analytical thinking come together to help clients make smarter decisions. As a Consultant Growth Scientist, you will lead the development of Marketing Mix Models that uncover the true drivers of retail sales performance and provide clear recommendations that influence investment decisions. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with critical thinking, working closely with stakeholders to translate complex analysis into meaningful business outcomes. If you enjoy solving challenging problems, testing ideas, and bringing transparency to analytical decision-making, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
- Design and deliver Marketing Mix Models that measure and forecast the impact of media, pricing, promotions, and external market factors on retail sales performance.
- Own the preparation, transformation, and quality assurance of large retail and marketing datasets to create reliable modelling foundations.
- Develop and refine model variables, applying econometric principles and commercial understanding to build robust and credible models.
- Validate model outputs through analytical testing, business context reviews, and structured sense-checking of results.
- Document modelling approaches, assumptions, and decisions to ensure transparency, consistency, and reproducibility.
- Present insights and recommendations to colleagues and clients, clearly explaining methodology, findings, and business implications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve modelling approaches, data quality, and analytical effectiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
