Job purpose
As a Consultant, will be supporting client projects to enhance procurement and commercial performance for our clients through Digital implementation, Cost Transformation, Procurement Transformation, Contract Lifecycle Management, ESG in Procurement, Procurement Managed Services and Category Management. This role offers valuable learning and development opportunities for someone looking to develop their career in consultancy. This role involves engaging stakeholders at all levels. We partner with clients across various industries to optimise their procurement processes, reduce cost and enhance efficiency. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking and expertise in procurement practices.
Responsibilities
- Support Senior Consultants, Managing Consultants and the Delivery Director in conducting assessments and analysing client requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Develop procurement strategies and implementing process improvements.
- Analysis supplier spend data and categorising based on strategic and operational requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Run tender exercises by following company procedures.
- Facilitating decision-making by preparing comparison models of technical and price evaluation.
- Help manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes and drive cost savings.
- Run and facilitate workshops
- Prepare proposals, reports, presentations and other deliverables for client meetings and presentations.
- Manage projects, including organising meetings, maintaining project documentation and tracking progress.
- Writing reports outlining project progress and results whilst liaising with clients to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This should include a customer focus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to use your initiative, judgement and make decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other procurement systems.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
- Flexible and open to change
