About the Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver excellence in community mental health services. Every opportunity will be provided to:

You’ll partner with stakeholders, including patients, carers, advocates, and colleagues across healthcare settings.
Who We’re Looking For
- A CCTV (Certificate of Completion of Training) or equivalent (approved by training body), with eligibility (or approval within six months) to join the Specialist Register

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for the highest quality of clinical care, ensuring:
✔ Delivering comprehensive mental health support for CAMHS outpatients ✔ Collaborating with GPs, specialists, managers, and advocacy groups ✔ Ensuring dignity and person-centred respect for all service-users
Your duties include:
- Operational and strategic leadership for teams and service improvements
- Advancing clinical innovation, training standards, and research-oriented practice
- Liaison with external health providers, carers, and charities
- Directing the performance and function of your department alongside other directors
