Job Details
We offer our consultants the option of a 10 or 12 PA job plan (7.5DCC/2.5SPA or 9DCC/3SPA) which includes a flexible shift rota between 08:00 – 22:00 weekdays and 8 hours at weekends. Specific individual requirements will also be accommodated where possible, including the ability to have fixed weekdays off or part-time positions.
Academic and Clinical Opportunities
A new medical school opened in east Kent from 2020, offering 100 training places per annum. We have been working closely with university partners and other Kent Trusts to see this to fruition and would strongly welcome applicants who may be interested in joint academic and clinical appointments. In addition to the development of others, we are keen to support the professional and academic study of our consultant body. This includes support to study post-graduate qualifications such as MBA or MSc or undertaking academic research.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
