Respiratory Physician – Exciting Opportunity Location: Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Respiratory Department) Team: Cancer Care Team
The Respiratory Department at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced respiratory physician to join our rapidly evolving department. As part of our growing team, you will contribute to our specialised services, including:
### Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of a dedicated Medical High Care Unit (MHCU)
- Support the newly established acute Respiratory Assessment Unit (RAU)
- Collaborate with our dedicated Pleural Diseases service
- Work alongside Cardio-thoracic Surgery and Sleep Medicine teams, including polysomnography support
- Provide targeted respiratory care within the cancer care pathway
- Stay at the forefront of thoracic oncological and paediatric respiratory medicine, fostering innovative clinical practices
