Job Opportunity: Neurology Team at University Hospitals Dorset

This is an exciting opportunity to join the well-established Neurology team at University Hospitals Dorset. With close links to Southampton University Hospital, there is an opportunity to work closely with the tertiary hospital team.

About the Role

The Neurology Service at UHD covers the whole county and there is an expectation of this job to participate in clinics/ward cover at 2 of the 3 sites (Poole, Bournemouth, and Dorchester).

This is a permanent post working 8 PA's per week, with an opportunity for specialists in Epilepsy or Multiple Sclerosis. Both these specialties are well supported by a MDT of practitioners and you would work closely as a team.

The post holder would be expected to play a full role in the delivery of the Neurology service across Dorset. This includes support to the acute wards for Neurology patients as well as carrying an outpatient caseload.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
