Consultant post in Respiratory Medicine

About the Role

We are inviting applications for two full-time, substantive consultant posts in Respiratory Medicine at West Middlesex, in addition to our existing five consultant posts.

We are seeking two dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced colleagues to contribute to the department while having the opportunity to:

  • Deliver respiratory outpatient clinics
  • Participate in the rotating respiratory ward consultant model
  • Build and develop a sub-speciality interest
  • Share responsibilities in interventional work where applicable

All applications are welcome from full-time, part-time, or job-sharing candidates. Any part-time or job-sharing roles will grant customisation to the role content based on mutual discussions between the post-holder and the trust, consulting with department colleagues.

The successful applicants will:

  • Collaborate with current consultants to further develop respiratory medicine services
  • Integrate into the team as soon as practical

Applicants are encouraged to contact the department for further insights into these roles or the trust itself.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
