The Shift Pattern
9-5 Mon Fri & on-call
Job Location
This 10-session post is based at Auchinlea Resource Centre and the Mental Health Campus of Stobhill Hospital in the north east of Glasgow.
About the Role
- Team: Multi-disciplinary team including Nursing, Psychology, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Prescribing Pharmacist, as well as good administrative support.
- Colleagues: Working alongside other Consultant Psychiatrists, with trainee support.
- Responsibilities: Assessment and management of patients with mental disorder within the Auchinlea catchment area, providing consultation, training, and playing a key role in service development and evaluation.
- Skills: Particularly looking for enthusiastic team players with an interest in quality improvement, clinical governance, and leadership.

Requirements
- Qualifications: Must have, or will achieve, Approved Medical Practitioner status in accordance with the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
- GMC Registration: Full GMC Registration and a license to practice.
- Training:
- UK trained candidates must have evidence of Higher Specialist Training leading to a CCT or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR) or be within 6 months of confirmed entry at the date of interview.
- Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
