About the Role

Metabolic is a specialist private clinic in Knightsbridge, London, offering integrated care for diabetes, obesity, cardiometabolic disease, and related metabolic conditions. Imaging is central to how we diagnose, risk-stratify, and monitor these conditions over time, spanning bone density scanning through to cardiovascular and metabolic imaging.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced, HCPC-registered Consultant Radiographer to lead our imaging service. This is a senior post at the top of the four-tier radiography career framework. You will combine expert clinical practice with professional leadership, education, and service development. You will shape how imaging supports diagnosis and monitoring across our multidisciplinary metabolic care model.

Core Responsibilities

1. Expert Clinical Practice

  • Acquire and, where within agreed scope of practice, report on imaging studies including DEXA and other modalities relevant to metabolic and cardiovascular care.
  • Undertake Practitioner and/or Operator duties under the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IR(ME)R) as appropriate to the role.
  • Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and other investigations to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain the highest standards of image quality, diagnostic accuracy, and radiation safety.

2. Professional Leadership and Consultancy

  • Lead the imaging service and set the clinical standard for the team to follow.
  • Act as the senior point of reference for complex imaging cases.
  • Advise the wider clinical team on imaging pathways, protocols, and equipment.
  • Represent imaging services in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical governance forums.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
