Partner with leading financial institutions to deliver on their strategic transformation priorities Location: Novatus HQ: 2 London Wall Place, EC2Y 5AU Work Arrangement: Hybrid working – 4 days in the office and 1 working from home
About the Role
Novatus is a Series B scale-up RegTech SaaS provider and boutique advisory practice, enabling financial services firms to confidently navigate regulatory complexities. Across technology and consulting, we deliver tailored, solution-driven outcomes for global asset/wealth managers, capital markets firms, insurers, and banks. Our flagship platform, En:ACT (Ensuring Accurate, Complete and Timely reporting), supports regulatory reporting and reconciliation for over 45 firms worldwide. Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Delivery:
- Partner early in client engagements to transform business strategy, operations, risk, data, compliance, or technology-enabled change.
- Conduct business analysis, process reviews, and regulatory problem-solving to define high-impact solutions.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to co-create transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
- Analyse and model data to support recommendations, business cases, and governance improvements.
Transformation & Commercial Execution:
- Embed in client teams to own outcomes, deliver tangible results, and refine commercial and strategic capabilities.
- Present findings and deliverables in clear, high-quality formats that resonate with executive teams.
- Contribute to business development (proposals, pitches) and internal initiatives supporting company growth.

Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or in-house transformation teams
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Commercial acumen and a passion for consulting within financial services
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and thrive in team environments
- Fast-learning mindset with adaptability to new responsibilities
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in target operating model design for Financial Services
- Element of prior work in risk management, regulatory change, operational resilience, or remediation projects
- Business analysis and project management expertise (roadmap development, risk tracking, RAID logs)
- Comfort managing complex, high-velocity projects with shifting priorities
