Within TTC, sits our Tax ERP team

We are a fast-growing team with a super-growth ambition. We undertake Oracle Cloud implementations in both ERP and EPM, and these need a combination of Tax knowledge and Oracle solution design capabilities. Finance Transformation is a key differentiator for our practice globally.

Our team is made up of both qualified accountants and tax advisors, and certified Oracle implementers. As a Tax-focussed Oracle consultant, you will have plenty of opportunities to work on large-scale projects as part of complex business transformations. You'll work with a wide range of colleagues and clients, exposing you to cutting-edge tax technology work in a strategic, commercial, and business context. Your role will entail:

  • Understanding and identifying the key tax touchpoints across the end-to-end business processes for their clients’ particular needs.
  • Understanding, capturing and analysing the client's tax and business requirements to build the optimal Oracle Tax design and/or supplement with the right mix of alternative tax technology solutions.
  • Supporting the project delivery team in designing, building, and integrating tax requirements and processes into Oracle systems architecture (or wider tax technology solutions) to meet client’s requirements.
  • Assessing and/or Supporting where needed the team in assessing the business impact of technical choices made.
  • Ensuring the project team is capturing and logging risks/issues on the project as and when they arise.
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with key client and internal stakeholders and keeping them informed of challenges/risks/issues with technical solutions being implemented.
  • Responding to requests for proposals from prospective clients.
  • Maintaining process documentation while continually improving internal and client processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with risk management and engagement acceptance in accordance with the Deloitte risk management protocols.
  • Providing regular updates to the project team on how the project is running against projected scope, timeframes and budget.
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Strong record of tax solution design and implementation (preferably in Oracle Fusion), gained in either a consultancy and/or in-house environment.
  • Previous project management and delivery experience, having overseen end to end lifecycles in a functional and/or technical capacity.
  • Strong organisational skills and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Efficient communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in matrix teams and managing/delegating work where needed.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word with a strong desire and ability to learn new skills and systems quickly.
  • Experience in third-party tax technology like OneSource and Vertex.
  • Experience in Oracle Financials like Payables, Receivables or Intercompany.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and an understanding of its potential impacts on Tax transformation are desirable.
