Opportunity We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Consultant/ SeniorProject Manager to support the successful delivery of diverse projects. This role involves developing project plans, managing budgets, and coordinating stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. You’ll be instrumental in facilitating collaboration across teams, conducting site visits, and maintaining compliance with local standards and internal procedures. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are key to thriving in this role.

Requirements Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with flexibility in approach to support diverse teams and working styles. Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. Support or oversee project delivery, including coordination of clients, contractors, designers, communications, engagement, and other stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements and are of high quality. Consider and apply local requirements, standards, and procedures that may impact project delivery. Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and support delivery within financial parameters. Help prevent budget overspend on designated tasks through proactive planning and monitoring. Assist in preparing contract documents, including scope, site information, and conditions of contract. Conduct site visits during design stages to gain understanding of the scheme. Carry out site visits during construction to observe progress and report any issues. Communicate effectively with clients and contractors, both verbally and in writing, with support available as needed. Ensure compliance with NRP project administration requirements. Support line and project managers in achieving quality assurance for all deliverables, with guidance available to ensure outputs are reviewed and refined. Liaise with subconsultants and review their outputs collaboratively. Able to work independently, with access to support and supervision when require

Knowledge

Working towards or holding an APM Project Management Qualification (or equivalent). Familiarity with general processes for administering NEC ECC, TSC, or PSC contracts – support available for learning. Understanding of CDM (Construction Design and Management) requirements, as applicable. Awareness of risk assessment principles. Experience or interest in stakeholder engagement, client coordination, communications, and planning. Industry knowledge related to infrastructure delivery (e.g. traffic orders, road safety audits) is beneficial but not essential.
