Are you a Pensions Actuary with LGPS experience looking for a role that offers more variety, greater client ownership and a clear path for career progression?

Synchronicity are delighted to be supporting an award-winning pensions consultancy that's continuing to invest in its highly respected Local Government Pensions team. Thanks to continued growth and an expanding client base, they're looking for an actuary who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges and making a real impact for clients.

Whether you're already qualified or approaching qualification, this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading LGPS teams. You'll work with a wide range of Local Government Pension Scheme funds and employers, advising on everything from funding strategy and employer risk through to governance, regulatory change and statutory reporting. No two days are quite the same, and you'll have the chance to build your own client portfolio while working alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the market.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • FIA/FAA qualification, or you're close to qualifying.
  • Strong experience working within Defined Benefit and Local Government Pension Schemes.
  • Experience leading, mentoring or supporting colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • A collaborative approach and the ambition to continue developing your consulting career.
