Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) teams help key clients, including global banks and retailers, local FinTech’s, and governments, solve strategic payment challenges and identify opportunities through benchmarking, ideation, definition, implementation, and monitoring of recommendations. This support ensures clients achieve scale, competitive advantage, and speed to market in the digital age.
Example Projects
- How can a retail bank drive activation and usage of payment solutions (e.g., cards) for specific customer segments?
- How can an airline build and enhance its payment value proposition for consumers/small businesses?
- How can a credit card issuer use emerging technologies like open banking to acquire new customers?
- How can an acquirer or merchant better understand customer loyalty?

VCA engages clients across Europe, organised into teams covering:
- UK & Ireland
- South Europe
- Nordics & Baltics
- Central Eastern Europe
- Central Europe
VCA Consulting Intern – Core Responsibilities
- Assist in driving business insights through data gathering and market trend analysis, powered by Visa’s analytical tools.
- Support the VCA team in project delivery for internal Visa projects and external clients across domains like:
- Payments
- Digital solutions
- Product strategy
- Develop project deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, Excel reports) with guidance from your manager for assigned clients.
Visa Summer Intern Programme
Visa hires Summer Interns in global regions including:
- Asia Pacific (APAC)
- Latin America (LAC)
- CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East & Africa)
- Europe
Interns join either the June or July cohort, participating in an 11-week programme with structured skills development sessions. Continuation is required for the full duration, with limited annual leave flexibility.
Intern Programme Goals
- Provide exposure and experience within a global payments leader.
- Offer potential return offers for high-performing interns to join the Visa Graduate Programme the following year.

Qualifications
Visa seeks the next generation of change agents passionate about emerging technology and transforming business models.
Requirements
- Be in your penultimate year of university (2028 graduation)—including final masters or advanced degrees.
- Hold full, permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered for this role).
- Show interest in technology and the payments industry.
