Your responsibilities will include:
- Help our sales and presales solutions team to win new contracts by engaging with Insurance technology owners, data and AI lead to map business value delivery into data framework solutions. Define transformative data architecture engineering solutions, from project scope to backlog with our techs, PMs and POs.
- Lead customer project delivery as a data architecture, AI enablement or data engineering lead on Insurance tech solution transformations.
- Co-own the internal and customer-facing data framework and capabilities catalogue (and value delivery tracking) as part of our AI roadmap team, and Insurance solutions portfolio.

Activities will include:
- Lead data and AI metadata project discoveries with enterprise clients in UK Insurance and Banking.
- Define data architecture and engineering patterns.
- Design proportionate data and AI governance.
- Assess data asset viability and RAG patterns.
- Collaborate with business and tech SMEs and POs.
- Support engineering teams to build data capabilities.
- Design production readiness and governance.
- Assist in change management and adoption activities
Requirements
- 10 years' working as a senior data architect, consultant or engineer in regulated enterprise data environments.
- 2 years' working within UK insurance sector data projects (underwriting, claims, policy, actuarial, delegations, bordereau, Lloyds syndication etc).
- 2 years' working with MS Azure data technologies (Databricks on Azure, Synapse, Purview, SQL, ADF, Fabric, Python etc).
- 6 months' working with AI to augment or automate business process (RAG, classification, API and Prompt management, Observability & Audit for FCA/PRA etc)
- 6 months' working with sales and commercial teams, pre-contract to close new business.
- Demonstrable, proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements and processes.
- Demonstrable, proven ability with applied data techniques including identification, pipelining/ETL, curation, chunking, modelling, data quality, cataloguing, lineage, package deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and active participation in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with gravitas to lead workstreams and engage with C-suite.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead BA/PO activities within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
