Consulting Director

£150,000 basic + £50,000 bonus, £10,000 car allowance and benefits

Home-based, with travel across the UK

We are partnering with a leading independent business transformation consultancy that is experiencing significant growth and looking to strengthen its senior leadership team. This organisation delivers complex transformation programmes across a range of sectors, supporting clients with project delivery, programme management, organisational change and business transformation.

As part of its growth strategy, the consultancy is seeking a commercially focused Consulting Director who can drive revenue growth, develop strategic client relationships and lead high-performing consulting teams.

The Consulting Director will be responsible for winning new business, growing existing accounts and ensuring the successful delivery of transformation programmes across a portfolio of clients.

Role Highlights

  • Deliver and exceed annual sales and revenue targets across new and existing client accounts
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships to identify and convert growth opportunities
  • Develop new business through personal networks, market engagement and relationship-led sales activity
  • Lead, coach and mentor consulting teams to support business growth and delivery excellence
  • Drive account expansion through effective client management and strategic planning
  • Provide leadership oversight across major transformation programmes and engagements
  • Take ownership of a key business area, service offering, market proposition or sector capability
  • Contribute to the overall growth strategy and leadership of the consultancy

You Will Need

  • A proven track record of delivering consulting sales, account growth and revenue targets
  • Experience generating significant annual revenue through a combination of new business and account development
  • Strong executive-level relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A well-established professional network with the ability to create and convert opportunities
  • Experience leading consulting teams within transformation, programme delivery or change environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with accountability for revenue, profitability and business performance
  • The ability to operate credibly with C-suite and senior client stakeholders
  • Experience within sectors such as Defence, Utilities, Energy, Public Sector or other complex regulated environments would be advantageous
