Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director of Life & Pensions Consulting to help grow and scale our consulting capability across the UK and Ireland.

This role is ideal for an ambitious consulting leader with deep expertise in Life & Pensions and a strong track record of delivering business and technology transformation. As a senior member of the consulting leadership team, you will help lead our Insurance consulting agenda while contributing to the growth and development of the wider Insurance Consulting practice.

You will work closely with clients to shape and deliver business and technology transformation programmes. You will also help expand our market presence, strengthen client relationships, develop industry propositions, and support the continued growth of the consulting team.

This is a highly client-facing and delivery-oriented leadership role. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a significant level of personal utilisation through active participation in consulting engagements, executive advisory roles, and transformation programmes. The role carries an expected utilisation target of 60–70%, balancing client delivery responsibilities with account growth, proposition development, and practice leadership activities.

  • Supporting growth across priority and target accounts through a combination of delivery excellence, executive relationship development, and opportunity identification.
  • Contributing to proposals, bids, strategic pursuits, account planning, and opportunity shaping.
  • Developing go-to-market propositions aligned to industry priorities and client needs.
  • Collaborating with account, sector, and consulting leaders to maximise growth opportunities across priority Insurance accounts.
  • Supporting the continued development of NTT DATA's Insurance consulting capability through thought leadership, market engagement, and industry participation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
