UK-Based Consulting Experts
Hourly contract | Remote | $150-$200 per hour
We are referral partner, Mercor is recruiting UK-based Management Consulting Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.
Ideal candidates have worked in roles such as:
- Consultant / Senior Consultant
- Engagement Manager / Project Leader
- Principal / Associate Partner
- Partner / Managing Director
We're especially interested in candidates from McKinsey, BCG, and Bain, though strong strategy consulting experience from similar firms is also welcome.
You'll help create, review, and simulate realistic consulting engagement scenarios, including problem structuring, hypothesis development, case analysis, client presentations, executive communication, and strategic recommendations.
Strong candidates understand how modern consulting engagements operate, including Partner-led structures with Engagement Managers, Consultants, and Analysts across strategy, due diligence, and transformation.

Here are more details about the role:
- You will be contributing to high-quality training data for frontier AI systems
- The work is fully remote and project-based
- You are available to work 40 hours/week

The vetting process involves:
- Resume + work history screen
- Short assessment evaluating consulting expertise

Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
