About JMAN Group

JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy. We work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies to create commercial value using Data & Artificial Intelligence. In addition, we also work with growth businesses, large corporates, multinationals, and charities.

We are headquartered in London with Offices in New York, London, and Chennai. Our team of over 550+ people is a unique blend of individuals with skills across commercial consulting, data science, and software engineering.

We were founded by cousins Anush Newman (Co-founder & CEO) and Leo Valan (Co-founder & CTO) and have grown rapidly since 2019. In May 2023, we took a minority investment from Baird Capital and in January 2024, we opened an office in New York.

This is an exciting time to join a high-growth organization.

Position

Managers are the driving force for sales and delivery in the business. You work hand in hand with principals and delivery teams across multiple projects and locations. You’re vital to the success of our teams and projects.

Your focus will be quality and excellence – in project planning, delivery, and client relationship management. You help clients deliver results against complex business challenges. Given the diversity of our clients and projects, you’ll need the ability to adapt and perform in numerous roles. Driven by focus on the clients’ best interests and draw on the expertise of the principal to add value to the client experience.

Your objective is to improve the people that you are managing, using knowledge from your own experience in people and client management. You’re constantly learning, seeking ideas and feedback from others, and effectively delivering results through your team.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Independently manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple (external) client engagements and workstreams, providing oversight to the delivery teams whilst taking responsibility for the outputs and recommendations across projects.
  • Own the day-to-day client relationship, up to C-suite.
  • Pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities that arise on projects, sharing intelligence with the principal where needed, and working with them to extend client engagements and build relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Manage, support, and work closely with a cross-functional, international team to solve complex problems pragmatically and deliver a sustainable outcome.
  • Deliver high-quality slide decks to effectively communicate to and influence multiple senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Take responsibility for your own personal development by completing internal and external training initiatives as required.
  • Drive internal projects and work alongside teams that look to improve the way we operate as a business.
  • Act as an ambassador of JMAN values and provide mentorship to more junior members in the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
