About The Role
As a Consulting Manager – General Insurance, you will make an impact by helping leading UK and Ireland insurance organizations navigate complex business and technology transformations. You will combine consulting expertise, business analysis leadership, and deep insurance domain knowledge to deliver strategic outcomes, shape transformation roadmaps, and build trusted client relationships.
You will be a valued member of the Insurance Consulting practice and work collaboratively with clients, consulting leaders, cross-functional delivery teams, and technology stakeholders to drive measurable business value.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead business and technology transformation initiatives for General Insurance clients across the UK and Ireland.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving successful business outcomes.
- Perform and lead business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, process analysis, workshop facilitation, solution definition, and stakeholder management.
- Develop strategic recommendations and phased transformation roadmaps that align business objectives, operating models, processes, and technology solutions.
- Contribute to the growth of the Insurance Consulting practice through proposition development, thought leadership, whitepapers, community initiatives, and sales support activities.

Work Model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant office in London, United Kingdom. What You Must Have To Be Considered
- 8+ years of experience within General Insurance, including consulting, business analysis, or transformation delivery roles.
- Proven experience delivering complex business and technology transformation programs within insurance organizations.
- Strong consulting experience building executive stakeholder relationships, influencing decision-making, and translating complex concepts into actionable business outcomes.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, workshop facilitation, solution design, and business case development across Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and techniques to improve analysis, delivery effectiveness, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Ability to bridge business and technology teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience working within matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and Ireland as required.

These Will Help You Succeed
- Experience working within a consulting organization or professional services environment.
- Experience operating in global delivery models and collaborating with distributed teams.
- Knowledge of insurance technology platforms, integration approaches, and package solution implementations.
- Formal Business Analysis certifications (BCS, ISEB, CBAP, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated thought leadership through industry publications, points of view, conference speaking engagements, or client workshops.
- Advanced proficiency with business analysis and process modelling tools including Visio and Microsoft Office applications.
