Consulting Manager, Life Sciences

Gate One is a business and digital transformation management consultancy business working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to design and deliver some of the world’s largest and most complex transformations that create meaningful change.

We are a premium challenger consultancy – entrepreneurial, creative and values-driven – and as part of the Havas network, we bring a unique blend of strategic consulting, transformation expertise and creative capability to solve our clients’ toughest commercial challenges.

Within Life Sciences, we partner with some of the world’s leading pharma, biotech and advanced therapeutics organisations to help bring transformative medicines to patients. From shaping brand and therapy-area strategies to orchestrating global launches, we work shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to deliver impactful, end-to-end change. As our Life Sciences team continues to grow, we are looking for a Manager with deep pharmaceutical and life sciences sector experience to help us shape the future of the practice.

The Opportunity:

As a Manager at Gate One, you will lead complex, high-value engagements across the commercial and cross-functional lifecycle. You’ll deliver programmes that transform how global and regional Life Sciences organisations design, launch and scale innovative therapies.

  • Lead and deliver major transformation and strategy engagements across pharma and life sciences, including brand strategy, launch excellence, therapy-area strategy, portfolio and indication prioritisation, omnichannel transformation and commercial operating model redesign.
  • Manage blended consulting teams to deliver high-quality work in a values-driven, collaborative environment.
  • Develop trusted senior client relationships, partnering with global brand, commercial, medical and market access leaders.
  • Drive account growth by identifying and shaping new opportunities through strong advisory relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of the Life Sciences practice, including proposition development, thought leadership and capability building.
  • Coach, support and develop consultants as part of our performance and people-focused culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
