Role Description: Consulting Solution Architect (UK&I)

Summary: Join Atos Amplify’s Architecture practice as an experienced Consulting Solution Architect. This role sits at the intersection of architecture advisory, solution design, and technical delivery accountability for complex digital transformation programmes. You will:

✅ Shape solution architectures ✅ Lead technical workstreams ✅ Manage senior client relationships ✅ Contribute to practice growth through problem-solving expertise

Eager to deliver digital transformation through innovative architecture, designing client-tailored solutions while thriving in regulatory environments. Requires:

  • Skilled in hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Problem-solver with architecture acumen and emerging technology interest

Skills We Can’t Do Without

Technical Proficiencies

  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Proficiency with applications, cloud, and integration architectures, covering:
    • Microservices
    • APIs
    • Event-driven systems
  • Strong grasp of AI, ML, and algorithmic architectures, including:
    • Agentic systems
    • MLOps
    • Data pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of security & compliance, especially in solution design & delivery

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Exceptional client-facing consulting skills, including:
    • Facilitating workshops
    • Conducting hypothesis-led analysis
  • Experience translating complex concepts for senior stakeholders

Project & Methodology Expertise

  • Delivery experience across waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Ability to balance architectural rigor with practical constraints

** Governance & Tools**

  • Experience with TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks
  • Familiarity with ArchiMate modelling

Preferred Industry Knowledge

  • Proven experience in public sector delivery or regulated industries

Key Requirements

  • UK mobility: Eager to engage regularly on client sites
  • **Security clearance eligibility^, willingness to obtain higher clearance
