Our Consulting Technical team is looking for an Assistant Manager or experienced Supervisor to play a key role in delivering Consulting-wide projects, with a particular focus on Finance Function Support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact by helping to design and enhance systems, processes and technical solutions that reflect best practice and support the delivery of high-quality, commercially focused outputs. You’ll work collaboratively across Consulting, partnering closely with teams on technical accounting matters, systems development, reviews and queries. Building strong relationships across all levels of Finance Function Support will be central to your success, allowing you to develop and leverage a broad internal network. The role is varied and fast-paced, requiring strong organisational skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to challenging existing ways of working whilst supporting change.

You’ll make an impact by: Work with the Quality, Risk & Compliance team and Finance Function Support teams to deliver and maintain compliant, high‑quality technical solutions aligned with legislation, best practice and internal standards. Support the design, development and continuous improvement of internal systems, including prioritising solutions, defining business processes, supporting tool rollouts and training teams. Maintain and enhance existing solutions, coordinating user testing, managing updates (libraries, formats, mappings) and providing day‑to‑day application support via ServiceNow. Provide accounting technical and policy support through FreshService, including trend analysis, knowledge article development and escalation of higher‑risk issues. Contribute to quality assurance, risk management and wider firm‑wide consulting initiatives through documentation, internal communications, quality reviews and technical projects.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys variety, is keen to learn, and brings a curious, questioning mindset. You’ll be comfortable working nationally, without the need to relocate, though some travel will be required to collaborate with colleagues across regions. You will ideally have: Relevant experience at Assistant Manager/Supervisor level within accounting, financial reporting or audit, with a part or fully qualified accountancy certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver projects and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrated interest and experience in systems development, testing and driving digital innovation. Proven problem-solver with excellent attention to detail, experience acting as a subject matter expert and embedding new ways of working. Self-motivated with strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills, able to work independently and engage effectively across all levels.
