What You'll Be Doing
No7 Beauty Company conducts its own consumer research and product testing to support new product development. Generating consumer insights to ensure our products deliver real results that our customers will love. Reporting into the Consumer Science & Panel Manager, you will have a key role in a small team providing invaluable insights to inform product development and support credentialling for our much-loved products.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering product-focused consumer science quant and qual research, using validated and robust scientific techniques
- Planning and performing cosmetic product testing studies; supporting the development and launch of great new products
- Analysing & interpreting data and translating into scientific insights to underpin end-to-end R&D decision-making and deliver broader consumer understanding
- Generating scientifically robust plans, study designs & reports
- Clearly and accurately communicating insights and results to stakeholders; tailoring content and design to the audience

What You'll Need To Have (our Must-haves)
- A degree in relevant consumer science subjects or equivalent experience
- Experience using statistical analysis to help identify insights, build consumer profiles and translate into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects and activities at the same time, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Skills in creating reports, presentations and dashboards to communicate findings to a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently and also collaboratively in teams
- Good verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical information simply and clearly to a non-technical audience
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience using machine learning techniques (e.g. thematic, sentiment, regression, multivariate, cluster analysis)
