Job Description

This is a full-time, fixed term role until 31st March 2027, working 37.5 hours per week, based onsite at our Upavon, Wiltshire office.

Being office-based means you will benefit from hands-on support, in-person training, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with colleagues in a collaborative setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Answering inbound calls from individuals interested in joining the British Army
  • Responding to candidate enquiries via online webchat
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records on our internal systems
  • Providing clear information about the recruitment process and next steps
  • Escalating issues or queries when appropriate
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment

Requirements

Essential

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous customer service experience, face-to-face or over the phone
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to capture information accurately
  • Flexibility to work a shift pattern between 8:15 am and 7:00 pm
  • A patient, empathetic, and professional approach
